Our choice of lumber is “Honduras Mahogany”, The species is Swietenia Macrophylla. Genuine mahogany is today the most south after lumber for the manufacturing of fine furniture, windows and doors. The Mahogany wood has an exquisite grain and color and is known amongst the most stable and durable lumber.
Most companies that claim to manufacture Mahogany products are utilizing substitute lumbers such as Sapele or Cedro Macho. Although these are lumber with similar properties and will for the layman look like Mahogany, it is not.
The only Real Mahogany is Honduras Mahogany. Not because it comes from Honduras, this lumber is found in the far East as well as in South America and Central America. The Name was given by the British in British Honduras that is now the country of Belize.
Utilizing select grade Genuine Honduras Mahogany or select teak procured from responsible controlled forests, the Exterior Doors are manufactured with excellence in architectural craftsmanship.
By reforestation the mahogany and teak plantations, Bellini Mastercraft has maintained a special relationship with the forest that guarantees the availability for decades to come and much more of fine Mahogany and Teak for the manufacturing process.
IMPACT DOORS AND WINDOWS.
The Exterior Doors, the French Doors, The Fixed Units and the casement windows have been tested for water infiltration, Forced Entry Impact Resistance and Hurricane cycle winds. These products are code approved to resist Hurricanes and the fiercest manifestations of Nature.
Achieving the strongest pressures in these tests, the Doors, fixed units and Windows are State of Florida Code approved to be installed in the Coastal areas.
SOLID MAHOGANY ENTRY DOORS
The Solid Mahogany double entry Front Doors manufactured by Bellini Mastercraft are fitted with a multi bolt high security locking system in the active leaf and a hidden 2-point locking system activated by Bellini Custom manufactured handles. In the inactive leaf.

Wrought Iron or stainless-steel handles engage the hidden locking mechanism in the inactive leaf and the Multi-bolt locking mechanism in the active leaf.
Heavy and slim solid steel “BRICKEL” Surface Bolts secure the inactive leaf of the heavy doors against forced entry or storms.
Custom manufactured decorative Grills, decorative nails and medallions are machined or forged in the Bellini Mastercraft factory.

The mahogany doors and windows are finished with SIKKENS high uv protecting varnish. This is the product used in the marine industries to finish the Mahogany in boats.
