EXTERIOR MAHOGANY DOORS SYSTEMS
The “Surround lite” Exterior Door System is manufactured with excellence in architectural construction. The Full arch or Elliptical Door is fitted with fixed sidelights in its full contour. In able to achieve this and keep the very important Impact rating that will make the door meet the Hurricane codes, the engineering of the attachment of the sidelights to the door are composed of 2” x 4” heavy gaged metal structures embedded into the wall of the entry structural walls framing the jamb and the sidelights.
Metal heavy gaged structured wings are welded onto this square metal tubing and are fixed onto the concrete. The tubes that separate the sidelights are covered with mahogany mullions thus hiding the structural composition that allows for the strength in the impact-rated door.

SURROUND MAHOGANY DOORS
Bellini fabricates the half rounds of the casings that dress the interior and the exterior of the arched or elliptical top doors in the old-fashioned, master craftsmanship manner. Once the arches of these moldings are perfectly shaped, they are joined by doweling and gluing with the straight legs of the moldings and then profiled together. This old fashion manner of manufacturing comes from the old-world masterpieces in fine carpentry. The arched casings that will dress the Arched Entry Doors will be exact in its tolerances thus creating the perfect match to the arches that the casings will enhance.
The Wood rails for these arched Doors are scribed from solid pieces of lumber and cut to the desired radius. This process springs from classical carpentry and methods of perfect craftsmanship that allow for no short cuts in the composition of the arches in both the rails and the jambs.
The doors and windows as well as all the Mahogany or Teak products are checked by the factory’s very capable and professional master carpenters and supervisors.
The radius of the moldings that dress the Arched Exterior Doors both in the interior and in the exterior of the Doors and windows are manufactured also utilizing solid wood instead of gluing thin strips on to a pattern.

Each Pull or handle has been designed to fit the unique composition of the door chosen. From the wrought iron, forged handles, and pulls to the machined stainless steel or solid brass metals the selection of the handles is a unique and perfect fit to the enhancement of the Entry door.
The surround systems are hung with Bellini’s “Frankfurt” 9” heavy “paumelle” hinges. These hinges are designed to hold the composition of the door both visually and with strength. The Frankfurt line of hinges are manufactured in our metal mechanic plant with exactness and with state-of-the-art metal machinery.
